As such, giving a portion of our resources to God is an act of worship and a declaration that God is our provider. We desire that everyone who considers Reliance Church RVA their church home make giving a regular and “radically” generous part of their lives. Giving should never be done out of compulsion, but with a joyful spirit. Giving should always come out of the fruit of our labor and blessings we receive from God.
When you tithe, you’re trusting God with your finances. Tithing is a biblical principle. God calls us to give the first 10% of our income back to Him. We know He will provide abundantly for you and your family when you put Him first in your finances. In fact, it’s the one area in the Bible where God tells you to test Him.
